While it was difficult, it went so much better than we had thought it would.
She wasn't very stressed about the situation, and seemed not to mind the other housecat despite its growls at her. She was amazed at all the space (3 levels to run!play!).
She is only 5 minutes away, and we will see her often.
This apartment seems bigger somehow, with her gone. It's not that she took up a lot of space, but it just feels like she should be here, perched someplace. And when we see that she isn't in her usual spots, it just seems so different.
It was hard. But not as bad as I thought it would be. I think in a way, she knew something was happening.
